Connect To AOL for Broadband Cable On Linux
Yes I realize this seems odd. A linux user who uses AOL and on top of that broadband AOL. I don't pay for my internet and the rest of my family are idiots so I am stuck with crap. Now I get my cable access from aol, so i must dial AOL with their dialer.
My question is, how can I do this using Linux. AOL does not have a version of software for Linux (ignorant bastards). Is it possible to intall a version of AOL that has been edited, or is there a dialer that will do this. If anyone knows, please reply and tell me where I can get files and a tutorial. Thanks a lot. (btw i am pretty new to linux and I am using Mandrake 10.1)

I'm not quite clear. Do you have to connect with both a phone modem and a cable modem or just a cable modem?
There are AOL dialers for linux to enable linux users to use the non broadband service.
