Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think there is such a beast. All the open source ones that I've seen are very lightweight and don't support user customization (lisp). I don't belive they'd be any good for heavy duty drawing anyway.
BTW, Autocad is the only reason I keep winblows installed on one hard drive. I would be a happy guy if I too could find an alternative.

My first inclination was to go with qcad, but it seems it's no longer open source

qcad is still open source
The source code for QCad is still available and still under the GPL as of 2.0. Unfortunately though, it does not include the scripting module available on the full commercial version.
The source is on their download page http://www.ribbonsoft.com/qcad_downloads.html under community edition.
