open office formulas
Im trying to write a web page in Open Office which includes a lot of formulas. Once I've saved the page, all the formulas are 'fuzzy'. The gifs that they come from are 'fuzzy'(eg high compression?) and it makes it look even worse than it already is!!! Can anyone help as to why and how to fix? Thanks!

Have you tried OOoLatexEquation editor for OOo? It looks very promising. From what it says, it converts images to pngs, where as the standard OOo converts them to gifs. Maybe it will work?
If not, make all your eqations using pure latex, then convert them to pngs yourself and they should look okay.
