    I havent removed the old ver of amarok, but i wouldnt think that would affect this step in the process, or, specifically, the cant find X thing???

    ok, i realized that i didnt have the Xorg includes loaded, so i did that, and now im getting this... which is even more confusing. Thanx again for any help...

    Got it working if anyone cares. Required installing all my devel packs from suse 9.2 pro (Im sure its just one that was missing, but, whenever possible, macro-manage ) Anyways, involved vlib and few other conflicts. Reply if u guys want details. l8s,
