Got anything interesting in your error log files?

Log files located at:
and is something like xorg.log/var/log/
If u look for something like:
That's the error code and warning codes.(EE) or (WW)

see now the thing with that is as soon as it boots up it goes to GNOME or well tries to and just idles and then shutsdown after about 30 seconds, I've tried multiple times to view the log file but the keyboard commands do not work.
