kopete problem

Hey guys/gals I had a problem last nite with kopete i had never seen i was trying to chat with a friend she sent me a message and this is what it said

Kopete encountered the following error while parsing a message:
Message could not be parsed. This is likely due to an encoding problem. Please ensure you have selected the correct encoding for this contact.

Now i went to the kopete.kde.org website to check it out i couldnt find anything maybe its because i wasnt looking for it right. anyways if any of u know what caused this i will be very greatful.

which text encoding are you using? Try changing it to UTF-8, as taht's pretty safe.

hey lakerdonald i cant seem to find the text coding option in any of the menus any sugestion??

hey there.. I too am having the same problem. I tried changing the text encoding in fonts to UTF-8 but am still having no luck.. any one help?
