cdr burning software
Well, I just used k3b for the first time, on a slax live cd, and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed; I want to use something like that, graphical and easy to make a cd image burn; however, it requires kde under portage --pretend k3b.
Does anyone know of a cdr software that has the same functionality and ease of use that does not require kde...I like enlightenment alot and I would hate to have to leave it and its speed just for cdr software,
Thanks for your time,

well .. K3b works perfectly well in gnome. Are you sure it does NOT work in Enlightenment ?? Have you tried running K3b on Enlightenment ??

Well portage lists kde as a dependancy of it, and I didn't want to have to dl source and compile kde, as it is rather large. I know that it would work in whatever xwm as long as kde was dl and installed, just wondering though if there was an alternative...but I really did like k3b?

thats how I have my USE file set up; I'll try the emerge anyway; hopefully it'll work without the kde libs installed.
