As far as I know, the QuickTime plugin is only for Mac and Windows. How can I show QuickTime movies under Linux? Is there any aquivalent plugin for Firefox?

As far as I know, the QuickTime plugin is only for Mac and Windows. How can I show QuickTime movies under Linux? Is there any aquivalent plugin for Firefox?

Try using the MPlayerplug-in or the mozilla-vlc-plugin. Those will both play what their respective players will but it will play the videos that are embedded into webpages. I am not sure if you need the respective programs installed though (although I imagine you would).
