broadband internet connection
,ve redhat linux 9 in one partition n windows xp in another. all was well till i wnet in for VSNL DSL broadband connection. For this, usb Aztech DSL Turbo 100 modem was installed. after this when i start linux, it gets stuck at "finding module dependencies." if i disconnect modem, it starts normally. after linux has started normally, if i connect modem linux freezes.
Pl advise me
(1) how to get rid of this problem, ie, how to get linux on with the modem connected, and, more importantly,
(2) Once that has been achieved how i can log on to boradband DSL connection in linux?

not so good at hardware
so for the 1st question check if it supported........
for the 2nd question
system tools --> internet configuration wizard .
select XDSL
for eg if ur using dataone
write datone as connection name and clgk activate.....
that's it.......
i iwill try to find the answer to the first question...Portability is for people who cannot programme
