Accents in OpenOffice.org
Hi all.
I take Spanish at my school, so I occasionally need to be able to use Spanish on my computer. And the Character Map gets annoying very quick. So I need to be able to input accents in OpenOffice.org from the keyboard.
I have already set my KDE mode to Spanish. In fact, most of the buttons work:
¡¿ñѺªçÇ
I can even type accents in other programs:
áéíóú ÁÉÍÓÚ
àèìòù ÀÈÌÒÙ
âêîôû ÂÊÎÔÛ
äëïöü ÄËÏÖÜ
However, when I attempt to enter accents in OpenOffice.org, nothing happens. The command is the accent button + a vowel. In OpenOffice.org, nothing shows up. The first set of characters there (beginning with the upside down exclamation point) all work correctly in OO.o.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do? The OpenOffice site doesn't seem to have the info...
Thanks in advance.DISTRO=Arch
