    touchpad problem


    i am using Suse 9.1 but my touchpad does not work. can anyone tell me how to solve this problem, thanks

    It should be detected if you use the xorg "Any PS2 or USB" option as the mouse driver. If you're not using an external mouse set it to PS2 only. Another option is to use the evdev kernel module. It's actually great, will even allow extra functionality like scrolling using the touchpad side.

    I'm not sure if it's included in Suse9.1 though.
