Does anyone know a file sharing program for linux?

Search for filesharing program on this forum and you should get a couple of hits. There are some people that have asked this some time ago.

try smbclient , im not sure if u can share files by it .

If you're looking for a music sharing program, check out soulseek. You need to install a couple of things for it, but I never had problems finding stuff on it. www.slsk.org

I asked the same question and yowwww told me to try Samba. I havent tried it out yet but maybe today i will. Hope that helps

I think we need to be specific about differentiating between sharing files and filesharing.

It can be interpeted differently, so please be clear about whether the need is for downloading files using a P2P or sharing files from a different computer on the same network.

samba is great for the latter.
