    What sort of digicam are you looking for? Cheap or top-end dSLR?

    look for a camera that doesn't require any extra drivers. i have a fujfilm f700 and it shoots very nice 6mp shots and is tiny enough to fit in my pocket. all i have to do to view it in linux is mount it.

    From my experience with several cameras in SUSE 9.1 (1 Sony, 2 HPs, & a Gateway), I would guess that any of the digital cameras which can be set to act as a USB drive will likely work fine in SUSE 9.2. However, I had quite a bit of trouble with Mandrake 10.1 and (several) digital cameras. I upgraded to Mandrake 10.2 and it works great, so you might consider upgrading your Mandrake box.

    I've Sony 2.0 and Canon 6.0 and both work very well in Suse Linux 9.2.

    We have a Cannon PowerShot A85. It takes great pictures and DigiKam and Gtkam mount it without any problems.
