I was wondering, how do you set the lable of your cd if you are burning using cdrecord? I don't think I've seen this in the man pages....

i use xcdroast which is pretty mucha frontend for cdrecord and its got a littel box where u just type it in.

You don't set a label when burning the CD. The label is contained in the filesystem. If you use mkisofs to create the filesystem, the use the -V switch to specify a label.
