    how to find verison of kde/gnome


    i was just wondering how i could find what version of gnome and kde i have. i am running fedora core 3. thanks!

    Open up KControl for KDE.

    FC3 comes with GNOME 2.8 and KDE 3.3(.2?).

    I think it can be done something like this:
    Code:
    rpm -qa|grep -i kde
    rpm -qa|grep -i gnome
