UDPcast on Knoppix or Debian
Hello,
I am researching UDPcast as alternative to ghost to update the lab machines at my university. We currently have P4 Dell machines dual booting winxp and Knoppix installed on the hard drive. I cant find anyware how to setup UDPcast on a hard drive install of Knoppix. I see it is included with Debian so it should come with Knoppix.
I am fairly a newbie with Linux and if anyone has experinece with UDPcast maybe you could give me some advice. Also my supervisor is considering a different distro to use on the harddrives besides Knoppix, for the reasons of making it easier to have a system that is updateable. I was thinking of Debian, does anybody have a oppinion on a good free distro to work in this kind of environment.
Thanks,
Art
