GIMP cropping
Does anyone know how to crop a image without risking messing up with the mouse. I mean is their a menu where you can select what pixels by what pixels to crop??
My New years Resolution is 1280x1024

I've found that if I select the crop tool and then just click in one place on the image (without dragging anything) a window pops up where you can state the size and possision of the crop in px.

i'm using GIMP 2.0 right now and i am pretty sure that when i used the older version of gimp (the one before 2.0) it always had a gui pop up to let you choose the width and height in pixels/inches. It's done this for me in both versions.
Have you edited any preferences that might have something to do with that? Maybe the window pops up behind other windows if that isn't the case.
