    I use emacs from time to time to perform that function, yes, but most frequently I just use the shell. As for the shell, I often use that from within emacs (try M-x shell RET). =)

    I'm using Firebird now. The only feature I miss is that "click to open new tab" all to the left on the same line as the tabs you have open. And that you don't get switched to the new tab you just made. And it doesnt hang sometimes when I try to write text, wich mozilla does.
