Not good enough. It has to connect to the exchange server using native protocols and be able to use the e-mail, calendar, notes, contacts, and scheduling functionality fully including free/busy and automatic scheduling of other users / viewing other shared calendars.

Well that is just half-assed. Ridiculous solution for a business.

Re: Exchange Server
Admittedly, I've never had an Exchange server to try against, but are you really sure about that? Since many large distros are shipping with the Exchange extension enabled by default these days, I find it hard to believe that it wouldn't be stable.

If you really have tried the latest version, would you mind telling me, who cannot test for myself, what is broken about it? I don't want to seem like I'm doubting you -- I'm just curious.

Re: Exchange Server
Latest I have tried was 2.2.1. Evolution would let me configure it, and authenticate into the server. It would let me downdload a few emails... then after I close the client and try to start it again its just dead and all messed up not working with Exchange at all. Have tried it on Ubuntu, FreeBSD, and Gentoo with the same result on all of them.
