Look for amule.deb or something like that. You can also try
Code:apt-get install amule

You can use BitTorrent too, since it is written in Python, but there are other BitTorrent client you can use too:
Official Client: http://www.bittorrent.com/ (Python using GTK for GUI)
BitTornado: http://www.bittornado.com/ (Python using wxPython for GUI)
Azureus: http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ (Java)
For more p2p there is:
giFT (http://gift.sourceforge.net/) can connect to such networks as OpenFT, Gnutella, Fasttrack(Kazaa), Ares, OpenNAP, *Soulseek* and soon donkey. (soulseek support is horrible).
dctc+dc_gui: http://ac2i.homelinux.com/dctc/ if you'd like to use DirectConnect.
