LimeWire/Java error? Newbie...
Hi,
I can't get LimeWire to work. It won't run from the Applications bar and in a terminal it gives me error messages about my Java version, which is 1.4.2.
I am running Fedora Core 3.
Here is a printout of the terminal messages:
[root@localhost ~]# cd /usr/lib/LimeWire
[root@localhost LimeWire]# sh ./runLime.sh
Starting LimeWire...

Something went wrong with LimeWire.
Maybe you're using the wrong version of Java?
(LimeWire is tested against and works best with with Sun's JRE, Java 1.4+)
The version of Java in your PATH is:
java version "1.4.2"
jdkgcj 0.3.1 (http://www.arklinux.org/projects/jdkgcj)
gcj (GCC) 3.4.2 20041017 (Red Hat 3.4.2-6.fc3)

Try updating your version of java, if you can, and try again.
