are there any tools to convert a windows screensaver to a linux screensaver.
a design company created a screensaver a while back for some of our machines, looked good with company logo floating around and some cool effects
are there any tools that would allow us to get this on our now linux based machines

You could most likely get it running under wine, screensavers are usually nice and selfcontained so it makes them easy to run. But that won't provide full screensaver functionality. It would most likely need to be recompiled (if not recoded), unless you would like to code something that would manage a wine session for it...sounds like it may be a lot of trouble or a lot of system resource to get going.
