MPlayer and mounting problem
I have Red Hat 9.0 and tried hard to install mplayer for it but my mplayer plays all but *.dat files. How do i uninstall the application? The red hat package manager only shows the packages that comes bundled with linux.
Also can anybody help me out to mount a ntfs drive in linux.

Doesn't "rpm -e mplayer" work? That would remove it if you've installed a rpm package.
