I was feeling bored today and seeing as I can usually find .debs for whatever app I need I had no need to use Alien. So I was looking at some Linux news sites and came across a program called Cinelerra which was an open source video editor for Linux. The issue was that it was only available in .rpm format. So instead of getting upset I was like...YES a chance to try out Alien. So I loading it up in terminal and did the -h command to see how to do it. Then after entering the code correctly it gave me a compiled .deb in the home directory. Then I installed it like any other .deb. I just wanted to post my good experience with this app.

Comments and experiences are welcome as always.
