    Lol,

    I just spent some time removing Konqueror...

    Actually, I'm already posting this through Firefox and will stick with KDE for now as I don't want to ruin things too soon. Or is it a painless switch?

    I found it very painless. I've been an IceWM user for years. Dropline Gnome actually made me change over. It's very well laid out, and there are some nice progs and apps to make things easier.
