Messenger Survey and a problem.
Personally I use Kopete, and after downloading Kopete 0.10.1 I was able to log in for a few days but the problem is that now it does not log in anymore. Yahoo! on the other hand works fine.
Is anyone else having this problem? I'm currently download 0.10.3 to see if that solves it.Registered Linux User #395492

I voted neither. Also I don't use any IM client.

Sorry I can't offer any advice for your problem.

I did offer another "neither" vote for the poll, though. I don't use any IM clients and absolutely never connect to Microsoft's regular website, MSN, Hotmail, or any of their other stuff.

Well thanks alot for the replies. Stupid kopete 0.10.3 took very long to complie and even now it does not connect to MSN. I checked the kde forums and alot of people have mentioned that this problem has arisen again.
Actually I was just comparing these different messengers to see which one has the best features. Someone told me that when you sign in to MSN using Gaim you can't use the video chat feature. So that is what started this thread

I use gaim.

I prefer gaim over kopete, first because kopete at the time didn't offer file transfers (not sure if it does now or not), now I use gaim because it's gtk based.
