Firefox won't open
I installed the Tabbed browsing preferences plugin and went to restart firefox but it wouldn't open. The process is still running but I don't have a browser windows. I restarted my machine and have reinstalled firefox but still no browser! Opening it from the console yields nothing either, it acts as if it were open, no error messages or anything.

Re: Firefox won't open
Delete the /home/username/.mozilla folder. Then, relaunch Firefox.

I think this is a bug. Here's what I did to solve it (I had the same extension installed) :
Run firefox. Then in the console, kill it using the killall command (the name of the process is firefox-bin, not firefox). Then the browser will load.
Dunno if it works for you, but it did for me.Registered Linux User #394578
