How do I burn an .ISO image in KDE?
I am running Suse 9.3 with no extra apps installed yet except Acronis True Image Server for Linux. Basically, just the default programs. I do have a copy of Nero for Linux too but not installed.
I burned a CD easily with the default KDE burner program but I could not figure out how to burn an ISO image in my Acronis folder for rescue boot recovery to restore my hard drive image.
How do you/can you burn an .iso image?

you open up K3B and then you have a selection of ways to burn in a lower window, if burn image to cd isn't there right click on the window's background and the option should be there

WOW...it was right there all along. I thought that was just a menu display window. I did not realize it offered context menu ability. NEAT.
Thanks. I found it.

Open Konqueror and click/double click (depending on how you have the mouse setup) on the iso file, k3b will perform a md5 sum check on the iso, select ok to burn, and then close once the burn is complete.

I used to run xcdroast and really hated k3b when it first came out, but with improvements, it quickly became my favorite cd burning application.
