MSN Messenger
This question is not Linux related but I'll give it a go anyway as there are people here who use windows as well. Does anyone know how I can stop MSN from asking to upgrade to the latest version. It's causing some problems for a project I am working on.
cheersI am on a journey to mastering Linux and I got a bloody long way to go!!!

Interesting. I am not sure as we can do that though

I need to talk to the system guys about that
At what level did you block it? A bit of an How-to would be nice.

I just got told that MS will only allow version 5 and above to log on because of security issues. I guess that makes my original question obsolete. All clients will need to be upgraded.
Hellmasker,
At what level did you block the email address?

when you cant stop..go around
i dont know about blocking the MSN communications but i do know that the program trillian (thank god for thee) never bugs me about an update. you can download the non-pro version of this program at http://cruleanstudios.com it has never done me wrong. not to mention it replaces yahoo, aim, icq, irc, and has an email plugin.
