    More Fonts in OpenOffice

    The font selection in OpenOffice is abysmal, and many of them display horribly on my 1200x1024 resolution.

    My attempts at adding more fonts have failed. I have compiled a number through Portage, and I have tried using the spadmin utility on the directories under /usr/share/fonts/, but this adds nothing.

    Can anyone walk me through adding more fonts? Thank you.

    Are the fonts TrueType? Then just paste them into ~/.fonts.
