    kopete


    I tried to configured kopete with my hotmail account and during conection appears this error:

    "An error has ocurred when connecting MSN server. Operation not supported"

    I also have problems with yahoo account. This time Kopete totally crashed.

    Any idea? Thanks.

    I'm not sure about kopete, but if you're not against an alternate to kopete I would advise to use sim. I use it myself , and I'm very found of it. It supports all well known IM protocols.

    I see you are using Suse 9.3. I had problems connecting with Kopete until I did an update through YOU. Maybe this is a solution that will work for you.

    i also had to upgrade kopete to fix the msn issue. but since then i've switched to gaim and like it better.

    I installed gaim as suggested truoc444 and worked fine. Thanks.
