    Flash Player

I'm *trying* to install flash player player on a knoppix session so I download the player, unpackage it, and use the command # ./flashplayer-installer and in opens a Konqueror window that says

    "KDE Man Viewer Error

No man page matching to ./install-flashplayer found. You can extend the search path by setting the environment variable MANPATH before starting KDE."

Does anyone know how to get past this evil screen of death?

It would be *really* nice to knnow how to do this.
Also, I've tried th command "./flashplayer-install" form macromedia's siter and that just gives me an error. I'm not sure what version of Linux this is, but it is the latest version on knoppix.

Are you performing the install from command line or while running KDE?

you may have to change the permissions to execute the install rather than opening it in konquerer...try

    chmod +x filename
    ./filename
    Operating System: GNU Emacs
