OpenOffice
I think I installed OpenOffice 1.1. I installed it in the /usr/local/OpenOffice1.1. How do I run or were are the apps? As a newbie and Windows user The app puts the information in the start menu and I take it Mandrake 9.2 (or any other Linux) will not add it in the start menu.. How do I add all of the OpenOffice icons in the start menu and were are they for OpenOffice?
Thanks

my version of openoffice has commands
ooffice
oowriter (open office writer - word equiv)
oomath (excel equiv)
oocalc
ooimpress (powerpoint)
oodraw (publisher)
it puts the command to start the apps in the "start" menu under office section the in word process/spreadsheets/whatever the program does.
