Linux doesn't know how to handle apps or something
I recently installed Xandros on my computer and have been having problems with when I click an icon to open something sometimes it will try to open two of them (even though I only click once). It will fully open one instance of it, and open another 'button' on the taskbar with a spinning hour glass which will disapear after ~20 seconds. Its pretty annoying stuff. Also, I've been having problems with amaroK not starting for me anymore. It does the button in the taskbar with the spinning hour glass and will disapear after ~20 seconds, but no app will open. I've tried removing and reinstalling it but that didn't help. I've tried opening it from the taskbar icon and the 'start menu' button. Any ideas? If I need to give more info just ask I'll gladly give you what you need. I'm very new to linux, I just installed it about a week ago, so if I need to give some kind of technical info I'll need explainations how to aqcuire it. Thanks.

When you open things from the desktop and they fail you won't get any error messages. Try opening the offending applications from the command line and report back here with any interesting error output.
