QTParted and resizing issue
I can not resize my linux part which is ext3 via QTparted. I am trying this with Knoppix. But no chance. For NTFS parts, it is OK. Why this is so for Linux parts? BTW, those parts are not mounted.

You cannot change the starting point of an ext[2,3] filesystem but you can change the end point.

You should be able to move the end of a ext2/3 partition downwards as much as you want. If you're trying to move it upwards, you should (obviously) have free space there to move it into....

Actually moving is not the issue what i want. I want to resize it. For example, by resizing the end of the ext3 part to make a free space. But i cant. Because the resize button is not active for linux parts.
