    Installing tgz packages on distros other than Slackware?



    Is there any way to install packages slackware apps on other distros?

    I highly doubt it. The Slackware TGZ package isn't just a standard tared and zipped file. Chances are you can find the same package for another distro a lot easier, because the Slackware repository really isn't that big and not a lot of people make packages for it.
