I installed RH 8.0 and made a working cfg for mrtg, ran the simple cmd to start mrtg /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg /home/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg
and in the cfg i put runasdaemon: yes. after getting a error about the runasdaemon i removed it from the cfg and mrtg works fine, infact it loads at startup.

Heres the problem, I can't get it to stop, I have changed the name of the working dir to test it. There are no crontabs listed for it,
yet i get a e-mail from CRON Daemon every 5 mins that the dir it not valid in the mrtg.cfg
Any help as to how to stop mrtg would be great. My poor mail box cant handle much more
