    Playing OGG files in KDE

KDE's sound files (for its various themes) are held in OGG format. Does anyone know what program is used to play them?

Or which one could be used just to play a short sample from the command line?

Mplayer, xine, totem etc. should all be able to play them...though you might need some libs or codecs for them.

Every media player that isn't designed specifically for one format should be able to play Oggs.

Why wouldn't they be in Oggs?
