    I can't get Macromedia Flash to work. I tried Wine and cedega. It keeps telling me "Invalid filetype" then the system crashes. I tried reinstalling linux, and I tried using other emulation programs, but I can't get it to work.

    There's an x86 binary on Macromedia's site. Alternatively, you could try GPLFlash.

    What distro are you using? There is likely an easy way to get it through your package manager.
