evolution problem (attachment)
to the point....
When people send me MS Spreadsheet documents without adding them as attachments in MS Outlook or Express in windows. I can't seem to open them in Linux Evolution email. the attachement is prefixed as .gif. is there a way of getting around this. or do I have to get everyone to always send the documents as attachments through an email program in windows instead of using the File>Send to> Mail Recipient (As Attachment) way in the MS spreadsheet or Word?

If they're sending it as a .gif, right click on the file and see what options you have to open it. I'd think the Gimp would be one. If there are no options to open it, right click, click on "save" then go into your home directory, find it and try some different apps to open it with.

Even if that does work, you might not be able to open it with anything.
We can put a stop to this.
