    i have an ipod nano. i just installed GTKPod v0.88 and it doesn't seem to read my ipod or display anything about it. when i select "read iTunesDB" i get
    "'/media/ipod/iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesDB' does not exist. Import aborted."

    so what exacly needs to be done to have this GTKPod working with my ipod nano?

    1 - Is it mounted where it's looking for it with acceptable permissions: /media/ipod?
    2 - Try running File->Create iPod's Directories
    3 - Try adding/syncing a file to it, which I believe is how I got it to finally create the iTunesDB
