Hi all, want to try out amarok, i got it from linuxpackages.net, installed it, when i tried to run it i got:


amaroK: [Loader] Starting amarokapp..
amaroK: [Loader] Don't run gdb, valgrind, etc. against this binary! Use amarokapp.
amarokapp: error while loading shared libraries: libFLAC.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.


So i found the flac-1.1.2-i486-2.tgz file on the slackware cd 1 and tried to install that i get:


Installing package flac-1.1.2-i486-2 ([optional])...
PACKAGE DESCRIPTION:
blablablablablabla
/sbin/ldconfig: /lib/libFLAC.so.1.0 is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.

Executing install script for flac-1.1.2-i486-2...

Tried running amarok anyway and i get the same error as the 1st time i tried running it.

Anyone know what im doing wrong?

Any help appreciated.
