installing wine in vector linux soho5
hey,
i've recently switched to linux, to the vector-linux distro.
since its sclackware based, i downloaded the tgz package of wine, and using the 'su' commeand to get root and the using the 'installpkg' command followed by the filename. the package seems to have installed because no errors occured, but when i try to find where it was installed (usualy in /etc/ or /root/) it wasnt there, or anywhere else on my pc for that matter. i'm still new to linux and so far i'm loving it. only thing is that i do need some programs i had on windows, like Call of Duty 2.
any help is appreciated guys
