xine goes crazy
I am trying to view dvds with xine I aquired all apropriate software, then I started xine. the preformance is awful and I get 'the beep' from the computer like i was holding down a keyboard button
the trouble I am having is that when i exit xine again the keyboard and mouse configuration are all messed up. the scroll mouse doesn't operate correctly and the caps locked button reverses (as in the only way to turn caps locked off is to turn it on?)
Any help with any of this would be greatly appreciated

i use xine all the time for dvd playback. have you tried updating it, what distro are you using it with ? & your system specs? try starting xine from a console, post any error messages, then we can try & solve the problem

I don't know if it makes any difference but I install 'gxine 0.4.4' from the adept package program
