Im pretty sure mplayer does. Does timmedy maybe need a front end? Is there no help file atall for it. try it without the ampersand, timedy this is very strange......

    thanks so much for your help! I'm using fedora core 4 but now i'm running knoppix from CD. I think I'm going to install that but when i use the command
    Code:
    knx-hdinstall
    it says command not found. I probably try to install mplayer in knoppix. If you know how i can get the knx-hdinstall working that would be great. Thanks again for all your help.
