Type
To know how to use it.Code:man mplayer
Generally, once the ~/.mplayer/config file is correctly configured, you use it like that:
Code:mplayer yourmovie.avi

try doing this:
mplayer -vo help
this will return a list of posible video output devices, and try them, see wich is the best, then edit the file ~/.mplayer/config and add the line vo=yourVideoDevice
this worked just fien for me
good luck!

thank you but when I try to install it say that I have to install mplayer_fonts first but I can not find that file
can you tell me where I can download that file
I use fedora core 5
- 04-11-2006 #8In the terminal, type gmplayer and you'll get the GUI for this program, but you need to have one skin installed. Follow the instructions on the mplayer site and you should be fine.

Because that's the directory that the program searches.
NOTE: you have t do this as root.
