    Updating Mozilla

Running 1.4, would like to bung on 1.5.

Can I just run the installer?

Yes, I would think so (atlest, that's what I just do) but make shure that the ~/.mozilla config files remains untouched!

    Good luck

Why 1.5 when 1.6 is released?

What you need to do is to uninstall your previous Mozilla version. I don't know what horrors would unfold if you did otherwise, but all the Mozilla docs emphasize very much that one should never, ever install a newer version of Mozilla without uninstalling the old one first.

    Cos I didn't see 1.6

Ran the installer anyway and it's bunged it in a diff directory to 1.4. On Slackware moz installls to /whereverthepath/mozilla-1.4 while 1.5 goes to /whereverthepath/mozilla. Both are running but the 1.5 isn't pointing to the plugins like java.
