    Printing in Java

    I cannot print anything from within a Java application. Already wasted 2 hours on google, but no success. The only things I found was
    - remove '-' characters from the printer name, but it didn't help.
    - a suggestion to install lprng, but Yast says in order to do so, CUPS needs to be uninstalled, yeah sure.
    When I click on 'print' in the java printing dialog, just nothing at all happens, no job is queued or anything.
