I can't get Yum installed
Hi,
From what I understand the yum command is built into Fedora. For what ever reason the distribution of Fedora offered by my host does not recognize the yum command. I have been trying to figure out how to install it, but with no luck. Could somebody please help me out with a detailed step by step process.
Thank you so much,
Murw

"offered by my host" ?
if this means you're issuing commands to a remote server you'll have to bring it up with the admin. i'm sure the reason they don't have yum installed is because they don't want people installing software. and since they dont want people installing software, you can't install yum, which installs software. nasty loop
