I am collaborating with someone and I've been interested in trying this application <www.foldershare.com> however the client is windows only. I tried it under wine, but i am missing tons'o'dlls. Anyhow, is there a simillar program that is crossplatform?

Would CVS work for you?

Why not just an sftp server? If you are worried about Windows clients, they can use a free program called FileZilla (GUI) which supposts sftp. As for Linux clients, I have yet found a GUI client. Then again, I normally avoid using GUI as much as possible.

/me missed the whole crossplatform thing.
Konqueror (KDE browser) has sftp support, IIRC.

The only problem with that is my friend is a little bit of a technophobe. I am instead going to try to find all those missing dlls. I hope...
Besides, its always nice to learn new things.
